Capitale de l'Inde avec 10 millions d'habitants, l'agglomération se divise en deux secteurs: la vieille ville, l'ancienne Delhi, et New Delhi, la nouvelle ville fondée par les Anglais. Agra
(1 million d'habitants) est l'une des principales villes de l'état d'Uttar Pradesh situé à 200 Km de Delhi. L'actuel Agra fut fondée sous l'ère moghole en 1566 par Akbar dont il fit sa capitale. Sous le règne de son petit-fils Shahjahan (XVIIème siècle), la splendeur de la ville atteint son apogée. Aurangzeb transféra la capitale à Delhi. La ville fut conquise en 1761 par les Jats et en 1779 par les Marathes. En 1803 elle fut occupée par les Anglais. C'est ici que vous trouverez Le taj Mahal qui est miracle en soi .Aujourd'hui on le considère comme l'une des sept merveilles du monde.

Jaipur
(2 500 000 habitants) est la capitale du Rajasthan. Les murs et les portes de l'enceinte peints en rose ont donné à Jaipur son surnom de "ville rose". Au Nord sur une chaîne de collines, s'élèvent d'anciennes fortifications. Jaipur, la "cité de Jai" porte le nom de son fondateur, le prince astronome Maharadja Jai Singh II qui fit dessiner et construire la ville en 1727.

Morning and afternoon game drive in shared jeeps, Pench National Park, enjoy seeing Leopards, sambar, nilgai, chital also operate in the peripheral areas. Jungle cats, Indian and palm civets can also be spotted. Additionally, there are more than 170 species of birds including several migratory species. Overnight in the camp.
 
Day 5: Pech - Kanha National Park
This morning enjoy the game drives. In he Afternoon drive to Kanha National Park, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight.
Day 6: Kanha National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon Jungle safari by shared jeep. Kanha National park is located in central India, Kanha National Park is widely considered the greatest of India’s wildlife reserves, encompassing some 940sq kms of deciduous forest. The park has been part of the Indira Gandhi’s Project Tiger, since the 1950’. Overnight in the camp.
 
Day 7: Kanha – Jabalpur & Jabalpur – Delhi : By flight

Day 01: Delhi

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, full day city tour of old & modern capital of India. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658; Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun's Tomb: built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir). Overnight stay in Hotel.
 
Day 03: Delhi - Agra

Day 04: Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra city tour. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 05: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Surface: 240 kms (Approx), 6-7 Hours
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. En route visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri: built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Jaipur. Evening arrive in Jaipur check in into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur
After breakfast, visit to Amber Fort enroute witness the façade of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds which was built in 1799. Amber Fort - The ancient capital of the state until 1727 when Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to new site on the plains. The construction of this fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal & temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Afternoon, City tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar the observatory built by Jai Singh in 1728; the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. It also has a museum with an extensive collection of art, carpets, paintings, enamel ware and weapons dating back to the 15th century.
 
Day 07: Jaipur - Udaipur
Surface: 420 kms (Approx), 7-8 Hours
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Arrival in Udaipur check-in at the hotel & free for leisure. Night stay at the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for city sightseeing tour of Udaipur takes you to Sahelion-Ki- Bari, the Museum of folk art, the City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Lake Pichola, Lake Fateh sager, Maharana Paratap Memorial etc. In the evening, enjoy boating on the lake. Night stay at the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur - Mumbai
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Mumbai. Arrive in Mumbai and transfer to the hotel. Day 10: Mumbai- Aurangabad (By Flight)
Aurangabad - Ellora Caves - Aurangabad (Surface: 30 kms, 1/2 Hours).
Note: - Ellora Caves will be closed on every Tuesday.
After breakfast drive to Mumbai Airport. Arrive in Aurangabad airport meet our representative transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Explore the famous Ellora Caves 30KM form Aurangabad. This World Heritage Site never disappoints any of its visitors. Return to the hotel for night stay.
 
Day 11: Aurangabad - Ajanta - Aurangabad

Day 02: Delhi 
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi : OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.
Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra 

After breakfast drove to Agra 03 hours & transfer to hotel. Later visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife Also visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of
private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Night stay in Agra. 


Day 04: Agra – Jaipur 
After breakfast drive to Jaipur- the fabled “pink city” of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors are now living monuments enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur in late evening & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur. 
Day 05: Jaipur 
After breakfast proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. 
 

Amber Fort Palace - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Continue sight- seeing.


City Palace -
 A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar- This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. HAWA MAHAL- The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay in Jaipur. 
 


Day 06: Jaipur - Mumbai (By flight) 
Morning transfer to airport to board the flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai, meet assist at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 07: Mumbai

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi  
Upon your arrival at the Delhi airport for your  09 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi , our representative will meet you for your private transfer to the hotel.   


Today the rest of the day is free. 
The capital of India, Delhi is a city which reflects the unique changing facets of contemporary Indian culture, where ancient heritage compete for a space alongside colonial buildings, modern multiplex, shopping malls. A city as old as the myths has been developing fast and the rich heritage and culture is still alive with a various attractions of old and new.  

Evening enjoy Light and Sound Show at Red Fort. After dinner at an outside eatery, stay overnight.  

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing  After breakfast at the hotel, your sightseeing in Delhi will begin. Delhi is split into two parts-Old Delhi and New Delhi. First you visit New Delhi and its heritage monuments. First drive past the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament building, halt for a while at India Gate which is the Memorial Arch of World War I. Then you proceed towards Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, National Art Gallery and Museum. Have Lunch.  

After lunch you explore Old Delhi. First visit Raj Ghat, the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and pay tribute to his soul. The main market area is chaotic. Then you explore the majestic red sandstone architecture Red Fort. Visit the adjacent Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Walk past the roads of Chandi Chowk. You will wonder to see the happenings on the streets of the market. If you want you can pick up some antique things.

Your second day Golden Triangle India Tours ends up here. Enjoy drinking and dining at restaurant. Overnight stay at Delhi hotel.   


Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur (250 Kms-05 Hrs)  
Get up soon. After breakfast, head towards Jaipur, the pink city of Indian state Rajasthan. On the way drive enjoy the scenes of Indian villages. Upon arrival, take your Jaipur hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure.  

Evening walk past the lively roads of Jaipur city. The pink beauty mesmerizes you. Have Dinner and stay overnight.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing 
After breakfast, you go to Amber Fort located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur. You enjoy an elephant ride to the top of the fort which will exhilarates you. The panoramic view of Jaipur city from the fort is spectacular. Explore the interiors and exteriors of the fort. Then on the back to city you visit the Jal Mahal. Enjoy a camel ride on the bank of the lake of Jai Mahal. The scenic environ thrills you.

Have your lunch. Afternoon, you tour Jaipur city. Visit the City palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal known as Palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory. Visit the handicrafts markets of Jaipur.

Evening for fun and dining at Choki Dhani ethnic restaurant. Grasp the pure charm of Rajasthani culture. Stay overnight. 


Day 05: Jaipur-Agra (250 kms) 
After breakfast, pack up to Agra. On the way drive visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughals. It is a world heritage site.  

Drive to Agra. On arrival take your hotel. Late afternoon you visit the Agra Fort and It-mad-Daula's Tomb. Visit the markets and leather factories. After a Mughlai dinner, stay overnight.  

Day 06: Agra-Jhansi By train and Drive to Khajuraho (Enroute Orchha) 
Golden Triangle with Taj Mahal Tour   will be rewarded today. At dawn you explore the majestic Taj. The morning beauty of Taj is incomparable. The color of Taj changes when the sun rises over the sky.  

You take your train at Agra railway station to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, our representative meets you here and drives you to Khajuraho. Enroute you visit Orchha temples which display the medieval temple architecture.  

On arrival at Khajuraho you take your hotel.  
Khajuraho located in Madhya Pradesh is a major tourist destination in India known for the Medieval Hindu and Jain Temples.

The walls of the temples have some erotic sculpture and motifs. The temples earned the world heritage recognition. Intricate sculpture and erotic carvings depict the life of the gods and goddesses. Some of the carvings of the wall depict sexualities of human beings also. After dinner, stay overnight.  

Day 07 : Khajuraho-Varanasi (By Flight) 
After breakfast, you enjoy half-day sightseeing at Khajuraho.  
First you visit the great Kandariya Mahadev Temple built in honor of Lord Shiva. One of the tallest temples at Khajuraho, it has some erotic carvings. Then, you tour the three Hindu Temples of Khajuraho known as Brahman, Vamana and Javari. Explore the erotic sculpture of the temples which have some musical rhythm. At last you visit the Jain Temples of Khajuraho. Explore the architecture and sculpture.  

After lunch you fly to Varanasi boarding a flight at Khajuraho airport. On arrival, take your hotel in the holy city Varanasi.
Varanasi, a Hindu pilgrimage abode is considered as the oldest inhabited cities of the world. River Ganga is a holy river in Hindu beliefs. The temples of Varanasi are located on the bank of the river. Varanasi is also synonymous with Benaras Hindu University, and Sarnath, the Buddha pilgrimage center. At Varanasi the great Indian writers--Kabir, Tulsidas, Ravi Das spent several years of life. Varanasi silks and ‘paan' are also famous.

Evening you proceed to the Ghats to watch the Aarti ceremony. Thousand of devotees throng the ghats and offer pujja to Ganga Maya. After dinner, stay overnight at hotel. 


Day 08 : Varanasi Sightseeing 
Varanasi is a city in which you see a different world. Though it is a typical Hindu city you see here a cosmopolitan air. Today in the early morning you enjoy a boat cruise on the Holy River Ganga. If you do believe in Hindu spiritualism, take a holy bath as it is said that Ganga has the power to cleanse sins of life. Have a look on the Life and Death circle. In one side you will the prosperity of life and in other side the cremation of the dead.  

Then you take your breakfast. After breakfast, you set out your excursion tour to Sarnath which is 10 kilometers away from Varanasi. Sarnath is a Buddhist pilgrimage center and it is here that Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.  

Then you visit the Benaras Hindu University in support of our guide. Explore the Museum of the university which has a wide collection of artifacts and paintings.

Visit the Aurangzeb's Mosque and drive back to the hotel. If you have zeal again today visit the ghats to witness evening Aarti. After dinner, stay overnight.   
 

Day 09 : Varanasi-Delhi (By flight)  
Today you bid farewell to Varanasi as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi where you board your homebound flight.
